  Year 1 have been learning the story 'How the Tortoise Got His Shell'. Mrs Hayman brought her pet tortoise into school to meet the children and answer questions about tortoises. 

  

• World Earth Day

  We found out about World Earth Day in Collective Worship this week. Our Planet Protectors talked about ways that we can all look after our planet:

  - recycling

  - turning off light switches

  - using less water

  - going on litter picks

  - walking, scooting or cycling to school or using the 'Park and Stride' if you have to come by car.

   

• Forest School Club

  Forest Schools Club got off to a great start this evening. The children have had a wonderful time exploring the wild area, creating animal footprints and playing the Bat and Moth game.
