It is important that we ensure that all children settle into school in their own way and at their own pace. Some children will be able to cope with full time education straight away and some will need to attend on a part time basis for a little longer.
Children must be able to cope with full time education. If they get tired, parents will be encouraged to take their child out of school for an agreed number of afternoons (not mornings, as this is when the majority of children are more ready to learn).
Please talk to your child’s class teacher in order to ensure that together, we make your child’s entry into full time education as smooth as possible.
We look forward to seeing you again in September, have a lovely summer.
