Week 2 (w/b 10/06/24)

This week Red Class have designed, made and evaluated a puppet based on Punch and Judy in D.T. The puppets looked amazing! We completed a science investigation into which materials are waterproof and concluded that plastic was the most waterproof out of the materials we tested. We have been having a go at reading real and alien words this week and took part in an obstacle course in our PSHE lesson when we were learning that ‘No Way Through Isn’t True’.

On Thursday we listened to a talk from a Litter Picker Ambassador and learnt all about litter on the local environment. On Friday we thought about the impact of plastic and litter on our oceans and what we can do to help. In Art this week we have been creating our own new media and drawing an outline of an owl in preparation for our final piece next week.
