Boris taught us the good friends make sure everyone is included. We played a dancing game where we had make sure no one was left out.
Holly Class have been exploring using different drawing pencils in Art. They have used 2B, 4B and charcoal pencils to make marks in their Art books. This week the children used the pencils to draw their own giants.

We tried yoga to help our minds and bodies for Children’s Mental Health Week.
As part of Children's mental health week we made friendship bands and thought about what makes a good friend.
We retold the ‘Owl Babies’ story to the Snowy Owl in the dark reading den.
In Maths, we have been comparing objects by their weight.
Holly Class made their own owls out of clay.
Autumn 2 - People Who Help Us/ Journeys
We had two fire fighters come and talk to Holly Class about their jobs and we found out how they help people. We then made our own fire fighter characters.
We made poppies using the multi-links for Remembrance day.
Holly Class played a Maths game on the computers. They have been learning about more and less.
Holly Class enjoyed some forest school activities with our onsite preschool in our wild area.

Autumn 1 -Marvellous Me
We went on a wellie walk around our school grounds and looked for signs of autumn. The children then made a leaf picture of their special person.
Holly Class have started to learn to write their letters for the phonic sounds they have already learnt.
We have been drawing self portraits in Art this half term.
Holly Class planted some flowers in our learning garden.
