• World Thinking Day and World Founder's Day

  Today Girl Scouts and Girl Guides across 150 countries celebrate 'World Thinking Day'. It's a day of international friendship and a time to stand up for causes that could improve the lives of children around the globe. It’s also the day when Scouts celebrate 'World Founder’s Day', marking the birthday of Robert Baden-Powell, (born in 1857), the founder of Scouting, and coincidentally also of his wife Olave Baden-Powell, founder of Guiding (born in 1889).

  

• Children's Mental Health Week - Together Thursday!

  Today we started to create some art work for a whole school project with Debbie Wakefield, one of our school Governors. Every child created a mini beast which will form part of a new display in the main entrance.

  Mrs Sones and Arlo visited Manor today. They visit schools as part of the Pets as Therapy charity. Today Arlo listened to some of our children  reading stories. He was a very popular guest!
