Ukulele

We really enjoyed learning the ukulele with Miss Constance. We performed a concert for our parents.

Hampshire Fire Service

We had a visit from Hampshire Fire Service. They taught us how to keep safe and what we should do if we find a fire.

We learnt all about the Hindu festival of Holi. We had a Holi festival in class.

World Book Day

We dressed up as our favourite book characters and shared books with our friends.

D.T.

In D.T. we learnt all about axles on vehicles. We learnt how to make moving and fixed axles. We then designed and made a moving vehicle.

Toy workshop

Verity from St Barbe's Museum visited us to teach us all about old and new toys.

In D.T., we learnt all about different fruits and yogurts. We then designed and made a healthy breakfast.

Pet Day

In Science, we have been learning about animals. We had a pet day and some of our pets came in to school to visit us.

Snow

We had a great time playing in the snow! It was lots of fun.

Art

We learnt about the work of Gaudi. We used ideas from Gaudi to create our own Gaudi inspired clay tiles.

D.T.

We made stable structures in D.T., we designed and made a piece of playground equipment.

Art

We are learning about the buildings designed by Gaudi.

This half term we are learning about the features we will find in our school grounds and the local area of Holbury.
